The Story Behind LifeSim

My mother encouraged my curiosity.

Like every child, I was curious — but because she nurtured it, I became extremely curious. About everything. All the time.

So I wanted to be a dancer. Then an architect. Then a monk. Then an artist. Then an athlete. I wanted all of it — every life I could imagine living, I wanted to live.

But I couldn't. Nobody can.

In my early 20s, while I was a university student in Germany, I spent four years living like a monk. I meditated up to eight hours a day. I studied ancient wisdom and spiritual masters. I pushed my body to extremes — jogging in 40°C heat, meditating outside at -15°C in a bathing suit, regular ice baths in winter. I wanted to understand the mind from the inside out.

During those years I realized something that stayed with me: every human has infinite potential timelines. We just can't access them. The constraints of physics, of time, of one body in one place, make it impossible.

That realization never left.

I graduated from LMU Munich — one of Germany's top universities — where I had the privilege of contributing to AI research. That work resulted in two papers published by MIT Press and IEEE. Then I dropped out of my master's to become a founder.

Founding is the only job I know where you can combine everything — design, structure, movement, meaning, discipline. You get to touch every part of something and shape it from nothing.

But the feeling of all those unlived lives — the dancer I never became, the monk I never sat still long enough to be — it never went away. Not as regret, but as hunger. A quiet, constant hunger for experience I'd never have time for.

That's why LifeSim exists. As of March 2026, I've been working on it full-time, solo, for a year now. Every line of code, every design decision, every word you read on the site — it's all me, and I wouldn't have it any other way. This is the most personal thing I've ever built.

The mission is to enable every human being to explore their infinite latent potential. I believe we're getting closer every day.
