How to become a famous app developer in BitLife

1. Keep your Smarts high and graduate from high school without getting caught for any crime.
2. Enroll in university and complete the 4-year Computer Science program. If the major is not offered, age up or restart the app.
3. Open Occupation, then Jobs, and look for App Tester or Jr. App Developer, marked with a phone emoji and an App Developer tag.
4. Apply and pass the interview.
5. To get famous, set your hours to about 60 a week, choose Work Harder every year, and keep aging up.
6. For instant fame, buy the Hollywood Star in the Marketplace. It makes you famous in fame careers, including App Developer.
7. To work for BitLife itself, start the life in Miami, United States, and only take a job whose employer is listed as BitLife or Candywriter.

• Working for BitLife gives the Candywriter achievement, and the secret Teammate ribbon when that character dies.
• The wiki says a life born in Tucson can also work for Candywriter, but Miami is the city every source names.
• A famous app developer who does not work for BitLife can earn the Famous ribbon instead of Teammate.
• If you own the Golden Diploma, use it to get the degree right away.

BitLife gives you a menu of choices. LifeSim is a free life sim in your browser, set on a real map of Earth. You type what you do and say, and the people in your city answer in their own words and remember you. There are no packs to buy. It is single player and in English.
