How to move a Sim out of a household in The Sims 4
Open Manage Worlds, then Manage Households. Select the household and click the two-arrow icon, Transfer Sims Between Households. Select the Sim and click Create New Household, or move them into another household. Then move the new household into a lot. In Live Mode, the phone's Travel tab also has Split from Household and Move.

Passos
- Open Manage Worlds, then Manage Households.
- Select the household the Sim lives in.
- Click the icon with two arrows, Transfer Sims Between Households.
- Select the Sim on the left. Click Create New Household to give them their own household, or pick another household on the right and move the Sim across.
- Move Simoleons to the new household if they need money for a home.
- Select the new household and choose Move Household to put them on a lot.
Split from the phone
In Live Mode, click the Sim's phone and open the Travel tab. Choose Split from Household and Move. The household management window opens and you pick who leaves and where they go. If the option is missing, try the same option on a computer.
Merge and switch households
To merge, open Transfer Sims Between Households and move every Sim from the left to the right. The game asks if you want to sell the old household's furniture.
To play another household, open Manage Worlds, select that household and click Play.
Common problems
Split from Household and Move is missing from the phone
Players report this after some updates. Use the computer, or use Transfer Sims Between Households in Manage Households.
You cannot move the Sim into the other household
The other household may be full. A household can hold 8 Sims and pets.
The new household cannot afford a lot
Move Simoleons to them in the transfer screen, or pick a cheaper lot.
A child cannot move out alone
Children need an adult in the household. Move an adult with them or keep them at home.
