How to get rid of herpes and other STDs in BitLife
Start with the medical doctor under Activities > Doctor. It is the best way to treat most diseases, though a treatment can fail. Several guides say genital herpes can no longer be cured with standard medicine, so the witch doctor is the remaining option, and her results are random. HIV is very hard to cure.

- Tap your character's emoji to see which diseases you have right now.
- Go to Activities > Doctor > Medical Doctor, pay the consultation fee, and choose to treat the illness. If it does not work, the game tells you that you still suffer from it.
- Check the cost before you treat. Under 18 your parents pay, and in countries with free health care the doctor costs nothing.
- For genital herpes, adults can go to Activities > Doctor > Witch Doctor and pay her fee. Prima Games, Pro Game Guides and Touch, Tap, Play all say the medical doctor no longer cures it.
- Expect mixed results from the witch doctor and keep trying. Most visits neither cure nor kill you but lower your stats, especially health, and a few visits can kill you.
- Keep your health high with the gym and walks. A character with low health is more likely to die from a serious disease.
- To avoid new STDs, pick the safe option in hook-ups. An STD you have can also pass to your partner.
