How to write an article in The Sims 4
Writing articles is a task in the Journalist branch of the Writer career (base game). First click a Sim and choose Friendly > Interests > Interview about Life. Then click the computer and choose Write > Write Positive Article or Write > Write Negative Article. Pick the Sim the article is about.

Pasos
- Join the Writer career: open the phone and select Business > Find a Job, then choose Writer.
- Reach rank 5 and choose the Journalist branch. Write Articles is a task from rank 6 (Page Two Journalist).
- Click another Sim and select More Choices > Friendly > Interests > More Choices > Interview about Life.
- Click a computer and select Write > Write Positive Article or Write > Write Negative Article.
- In the pop-up, choose the Sim you want to write about.
- Open the Career panel (the briefcase icon) to check that the task is done.
Which careers write articles
EA lists Write Articles as a promotion task for the Journalist branch of the Writer career, from Page Two Journalist up to Scribe of History.
The Critic career (City Living) is similar but different. Critics use the computer to pick Write > Write Column and Write > Practice Writing. Arts Critics also click a performer and choose Review Performance. Food Critics click food or drink and choose Review Food or Drink.
Positive or negative
Both kinds count for the task. A negative article about a Sim can hurt your relationship with that Sim.
Common problems
There is no Write Article option on the computer
Interview a Sim with Interview about Life first. Make sure your Sim is in the Journalist branch of the Writer career, not the Author branch.
The option still does not show after interviews
Players on EA Forums say a game repair fixed it. On the EA app, use Repair on The Sims 4, then try the computer menu again.
My Sim is a Critic and cannot write articles
Critics do not write articles. Their task is Write > Write Column on the computer.
