Can I bring my Sim from a Sims spin-off into another game?
Add screenshots of your Sim and a few lines about them. LifeSim is not made by Electronic Arts or Maxis and is not connected to The Sims spin-offs. The import only reads what you give it.
What to capture in the game
- Open the game and find your Sim. A screen that shows the Sim from the front is best, such as Create a Sim or the Sim's profile.
- Take a screenshot of the Sim. On a phone, press the screenshot buttons. On a console, use the capture button. On a PC, press Print Screen.
- Take screenshots of what tells their story: their traits, their job or their quest, their family. Up to 4 screenshots fit in one import.
- Write their name, age, and job, and who they are to you, for example "my husband".
Good to know about The Sims spin-offs
LifeSim reads the text in the screenshots and the lines you write. It draws the looks from the screenshots, in its own style.
The same way works for each spin-off: The Sims Medieval, The Sims Life Stories, Pet Stories, and Castaway Stories, The Sims Bustin' Out, The Sims Pets, The Sims FreePlay on phones, and MySims, which is on the Nintendo Switch in MySims: Cozy Bundle.
The Sims Mobile closed on January 20, 2026, and its saves were on EA's servers. Old screenshots of your Sim still work. Or write about them from memory.
Life by You never came out: Paradox Interactive cancelled it in June 2024, so no player has a save of it. The import sheet lists it too. Describe the character you planned in a few lines.
One import writes up to 6 people. To bring a family, name each person in the text, and add a screenshot of them.
For The Sims 1 to 4, LifeSim reads the files of the game. Use the page of that game instead.
Cómo añadir el personaje en LifeSim

Put your Sim in a real city
LifeSim plays on a 3D map of the real Earth. After the import, the builder shows your new life. Change the city to any real place, and the people you import live there with you. For example, live with your Sim in London, Tokyo, or New York.
