How to raise and lower objects in The Sims 4
Open the cheat console with Ctrl + Shift + C (Cmd + Shift + C on Mac) and type bb.moveobjects on. In Build Mode, select the object. Press 9 to raise it and 0 to lower it. This works on PC and Mac for furniture, clutter and wall decor such as mirrors.

Raising objects on walls
With bb.moveobjects on, the 9 and 0 keys also move wall decor up and down. This works on decor that normally has a fixed height, such as mirrors.
Pick up the object, press 9 or 0 until the height is right, then place it on the wall.
Placing objects in the air or on surfaces
The cheat lets objects float in midair and sit on surfaces with no slots, such as the top of a fridge or microwave. Raise the item with 9 until it sits on the surface, then place it.
If you pull an item off a surface, it keeps its height. Move the surface away, place the items, then slide the surface back under them. This puts more clutter on a table than its slots allow.
About the cheat
This is a Build Mode cheat. It does not need testingcheats true, and on console it does not turn off trophies or achievements.
To turn it off, type bb.moveobjects off.
Common problems
9 and 0 do nothing
Turn on bb.moveobjects on first. Then make sure the object is selected or held in Build Mode when you press the key.
The game did not say MoveObjects is on
Check the spelling and type bb.moveobjects on again. There is a dot after bb and no spaces inside the cheat name.
Sims can't use the raised object
Sims may not reach an object that floats too high. Lower it with 0 or place it again at its normal height.
