How to change seasons and weather in The Sims 4
You need the Seasons pack. Type testingcheats true, then seasons.set_season WINTER (or SUMMER, FALL, SPRING) in the cheat console. seasons.advance_season skips to the next one. Without cheats, use Dr. June's Weather Control Device with the Temporal Modifier Unit upgrade. Set season length in Game Options > Seasons.

Change the season without cheats
Buy Dr. June's Weather Control Device in Buy Mode (Activities and Skills). It needs the Seasons pack.
Upgrade it from the computer. Capacitive Efficiency (Handiness 3) lets you change the weather this season. The Temporal Modifier Unit (Handiness 8) lets you change the season.
Click the device and choose Advance Current Season, Change Current Weather or Change Season Forecasts. Sims with low Handiness can fail and get a shock.
Change season length and weather settings
Open Game Options and choose Seasons. Season length can be 7, 14 or 28 days. It applies to all four seasons.
You can also set rain (Rain and Thunderstorms, Rain, or None) and snow (Snow and Blizzards, Snow, or None). You can turn temperature effects on Sims on or off.
The calendar in Live Mode shows the weather forecast and holidays for the coming days.
Common problems
The seasons cheat does nothing
Tipo testingcheats true first, then the seasons cheat. You also need the Seasons pack.
There is no Seasons option in Game Options
Seasons settings only appear when the Seasons pack is installed and a save is loaded.
The weather device won't change the season
It needs the Temporal Modifier Unit upgrade, which needs Handiness level 8.
Season length did not change
Guides say a new length starts with the next season. Wait for the current season to end, or use seasons.advance_season.
