Arquivos de save do The Sims 4: instalar, todos os mundos, backup

Sims 4 save files are the files named Slot_ plus 8 digits and .save, such as Slot_00000001.save, in Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\saves on Windows and on a Mac. To install a downloaded save, move its .save file there with a name that no other save uses, then choose Load Game. Copy the whole Sims 4 folder to back up.

A Sims 4 save file is one saved game: every household, lot, and world of that game. Each one is a file named Slot_, 8 digits, and .save, such as Slot_00000001.save. They are in the saves folder of Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4.

Next to each save, the game keeps older save points of the same game, with the endings .ver0 to .ver4. Since July 2026 there is also one autosave slot. This guide covers each part: where the files are, how to install a save that you downloaded, what an all worlds save is, how to back up, and how to move your saves to another computer.

The guides we read give this one path for the EA app and for Steam. It is not in the folder where the game is installed. EA says that the Sims 4 folder only shows in Documents after you play the game once. If your Documents folder is in OneDrive or iCloud Drive, or if the folder is missing, read Local do arquivo de salvamento do Sims 4. It has each path and what to do in each case.

The Sims 4 folder also holds the other folders that a save can need:

• Tray: the households, lots, and rooms of your Library.
• Mods: custom content (CC) and mods.

Yes, since the update of July 21, 2026. EA Help says that the game autosaves at every loading screen, for example when your Sim travels to another lot or when you exit the game. That setting is on by default.

To change it, open the Options Menu with the three dots, select Game Options, then Save Settings. You can also autosave when you leave Build Mode, every 30 minutes, every hour, or every 2 hours of real time, and at game times such as midnight. On PC and Mac you can turn autosave off. On a console, the loading screen autosave is always on.

There is only one autosave slot. Each autosave replaces the one before it, and EA says that older autosaves can't be recovered. So keep making manual saves too: Options Menu, then Save. Save Reminders are off by default. You can set them to every 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour, or 2 hours.

1. Quit the game. Back up your Sims 4 folder first. The steps are below.
2. Unzip the download. Find the file that ends in .save.
3. Look in your saves folder. If a file there has the same name, rename the new file to a number that is free, such as Slot_00000099.save. Keep exactly 8 digits. A file with the same name replaces your own save.
4. Move only the .save file into the saves folder. You don't need the .ver files of a download.
5. If the creator says the save needs CC or mods, put those in the Mods folder, and turn on Enable Custom Content and Mods in Game Options, under Other. Households or lots that come as Tray files go in the Tray folder.
6. Start the game, and choose Load Game. Do not choose Resume, which opens your last game.

Read the page of the save before you play it. It says which packs the save expects. A save still loads when you don't own a pack, but the objects from that pack are missing from the lots.

An all worlds save is a save file in which a player rebuilt or renovated the lots of every world. You load it in place of a new game, and every town already has new houses, shops, and venues. Players share them on CurseForge, which has a Sims 4 save files section, and on their own pages, such as Patreon.

These are four well-known saves that we found on CurseForge in November 2026. We read their pages, but we did not test them in the game. Download a save only from the page of its creator. A save is a .save file in a .zip. Never run a program that comes with a save.

A save made before your newest pack doesn't have that pack's world rebuilt. That is why players search for a 2026 save: look at the date of the last update on the page.

Sims 4 save files with no CC, or for the base game

No CC means the save needs no custom content and no mods. It doesn't mean base game. A no CC save can still use objects from many packs. If you own no packs, look for a save that says base game, such as the one from charlypancakes in the table.

Sims 4 medieval save files

A medieval save is a save in which the creator made the worlds look like the Middle Ages. TheSimsTree says that a full medieval save needs many mods, map replacements, and custom content. Read the list of CC on the page of the save before you install it. If you mean the 2011 game The Sims Medieval, read The Sims Medieval.

EA Help gives these steps for Windows. On a Mac, the steps are the same in Finder.

1. Saia do jogo.
2. Go to Documents, then Electronic Arts.
3. Copy The Sims 4 folder, and paste it on your Desktop or on a USB drive.
4. Rename the copy to a name you will remember, such as Sims 4 Backup 2026-11-04.

Copy the whole folder, not only saves. Your Tray and Mods folders are in it too. To restore the backup, delete the folder in Documents, rename the backup to The Sims 4, and paste it back.

EA Help gives the way in the game. From the Main Menu, select Load Game, then the game. Select Recover Save, the floppy disk icon, and choose the save point you want. Then select Play. Each manual save slot keeps several save points from your last play sessions.

The save points are the .ver files. Sims Community says that the higher the number, the older the file. It also gives the old way by hand: move the .save file to another folder, then rename a .ver file so that its name ends in .save. Do this only when the game is closed, and only with a backup.

You copy them by hand. EA Help gives these steps from a PC to a Mac. The same steps work from PC to PC.

1. On the old computer, open Documents, then Electronic Arts, then The Sims 4.
2. Copy the whole saves folder to a USB drive. Copy Tray e Mods too if you use them.
3. On the new computer, install the game and play it once, so the Sims 4 folder appears.
4. If the new Sims 4 folder already has a saves folder, rename it, for example to saves-old.
5. Paste the folders from the USB drive into the new Sims 4 folder. Start the game and load your save.

The game doesn't sync saves for you. The EA FAQ says that The Sims 4 doesn't support the EA app cloud storage. The Steam store page of The Sims 4 doesn't list Steam Cloud in its features. Install the same packs on the new computer, or the objects from the missing packs are gone from your lots.

Saves don't move between a PC and a console. The EA FAQ says that console saves are platform-specific. Read The Sims 4 no console vs PC.

LifeSim is a free life sim that you play in the browser, on a real 3D map of Earth. It reads Sims 4 saves as the game wrote them, with no mod.

1. Open the LifeSim builder, and open the import sheet next to the + in the row of people.
2. Choose The Sims 4. Add a Slot file from your saves folder, or the .zip of a save that you downloaded. You can also add your Tray folder and pick one household of your Library.
3. A save holds hundreds of households. Search for a family, a Sim, a lot, or a world, and pick one.
4. Choose the Sim you play. Up to 4 Sims of other households who are close to the family come along: a partner, family, or friends.
5. Check each person, change what you want, and start your life in a real city.

LifeSim reads names, ages, traits, the aspiration, the career and its level, skills, family ties, and the household funds. A save has no portraits, so LifeSim draws the looks from the Create a Sim data. Traits and careers from mods drop out. The steps and the details are in bring your Sims 4 household into LifeSim.

Where can I download a Sims 4 save file with all worlds?

CurseForge has a Sims 4 save files section. Ultimate Save (NO CC) by PlumbobKingdom and Ultimate Saves of All Worlds by danuta72 were both updated in July 2026. Download a save only from its creator's page.

Is there a Sims 4 save file for the base game with no CC?

Yes. "basegame savefile - 10 years later" by charlypancakes uses only the base game and no CC. A save that says no CC can still need packs.

Does The Sims 4 autosave?

Yes, since the update of July 21, 2026. It autosaves at each loading screen by default, into one autosave slot. Change it in Game Options, under Save Settings.

Can I transfer my Sims 4 saves to another computer?

Yes, by hand. Copy the saves folder, and Tray and Mods if you use them, to a USB drive, and paste them into the Sims 4 folder of the new computer. The EA app does not sync Sims 4 saves.

Can I play my Sims 4 save in another game?

Yes. LifeSim reads a Slot file from your saves folder, and the households in it become people in a real city. Traga sua família do The Sims 4 para o LifeSim.

• We did not load the four saves in the game.
• We found no current EA page about renaming .ver files. That way comes from Sims Community, from 2015.
• We found no EA statement about Steam Cloud. We only know that the Steam page doesn't list it.
