To buy a horse in BitLife, first buy a property with the ranch icon, such as an acreage, ranch, farm or equestrian property, from a Real Estate Broker under Assets, then Shopping. Then go to Activities, then Pets, and open the Horse Ranch, which unlocks once you own that property. You must be 18 or older.
Steps
- Turn 18. Horses, like exotic pets, are for adult characters only.
- Save money or plan a mortgage. Recent guides put ranch and farm properties at about 1 million dollars or more, and prices change with your game's inflation.
- Go to Assets, then Shopping, then a Real Estate Broker. Look for an acreage, ranch, farm or equestrian property with the ranch icon.
- If no such property is listed, age up or close and reopen the app, then check the broker again.
- Buy the property with cash or a mortgage.
- Go to Activities, then Pets, and tap Horse Ranch. It stays grayed out until you own the right property.
- Check each horse's stats and price, then buy the one you want.

- In Chile, Peru, Brazil and Venezuela, ranch owners get a Llama Farm with alpacas and llamas instead of horses.
