Where can I look up the numbers of a life sim game?
Game databases
Each database here is read from the game's own files: the cheats, the odds, and the pay the game is tuned with. Each page says which version of the game its numbers come from.
The databases
- The Sims 4 databaseCheats, deaths with their odds, careers, traits, skills, occults, moodlets, lifespans, aspirations and collections, with a death odds calculator and a career pay planner

How we read the games
Games keep their rules in data files: the chance of a death, the pay of a job, what a cheat does. We read those files and join them with the game's own names, so every number on these pages is a number the game uses.
We leave out anything we can't read for sure, like debug commands or content that never shipped.
Questions
Are these databases made by the game studios?
No. LifeSim reads the files of the games and writes the pages. LifeSim is not affiliated with Electronic Arts or Paralives Studio. The Sims is a trademark of Electronic Arts Inc. Paralives is a game by Paralives Studio.
What happens to the numbers when a game updates?
We read the files again after a patch. Until then, each page names the game version its numbers come from, so you can tell when a number may be out of date.
