How do you get the Deadly ribbon in BitLife?
How to get the Deadly ribbon in BitLife
To get the Deadly ribbon in BitLife, your character must be responsible for at least five deaths of other characters, using the Murder option in the Crime menu. If you are sent to prison, escape through the maze minigame and continue. No paid pack is required, but hiring hitmen needs Bitizenship.
Steps
- Start a new life. With God Mode you can pick the crime special talent, which the wiki says makes crimes more likely to succeed.
- Live in a country without the death penalty if you can. In some countries one conviction can lead to an execution, which ends the run.
- Open the Crime menu and use the Murder option on a target. It can fail, and the target can fight back.
- If the police catch you, try the escape minigame in prison once a year until you get out.
- Repeat until five deaths count toward your character. The tombstone shows the number of murders.
- After the fifth, stay out of trouble and let your character die naturally. Do not surrender.
Requirements
| What you need | Details |
|---|---|
| Motto in the game | Be responsible for the deaths of others |
| Condition | At least 5 deaths caused by your character |
| Also counts | A death after an assault, and targets of a hitman you hired |
| Paid pack | None needed; hitmen need Bitizenship, picking the crime talent needs God Mode |
| Ribbons that can replace it | Jailbird, Scandalous, Wasteful |
Tips
- Five is the minimum. Both the wiki and Destructoid give five as the number.
- Getting caught does not ruin the run on its own. Escape the prison maze and keep going, but long stays can give Scandalous, and several stints can give Jailbird.
- An execution before age 60 always gives the Wasteful ribbon, so avoid countries with capital punishment.
- Hitmen are for adults only and cost money. The wiki says they can also take your money and not do the job, or be an undercover officer.
- The wiki notes that crime syndicate members can get this done through extortion jobs, which the mafia guide explains.
Questions
How many people do you need for the Deadly ribbon?
At least five. The wiki calls five the minimum, and Destructoid agrees.
Does it matter if you get caught?
Not by itself, since you can escape prison and continue. But a death sentence or a long time in prison can give you a different ribbon.
Do you need Bitizenship for the Deadly ribbon?
No. The Murder option is free. The wiki says you need Bitizenship only if you want to hire hitmen instead.
Why did I get Wasteful instead of Deadly?
The wiki says a character executed in prison before age 60 always gets Wasteful, and surrendering also always gives Wasteful.
