How to get a car in The Sims 4
No. The Sims 4 has no drivable cars in any pack. Cars you see in worlds are decoration only. Sims travel with the phone's Travel option, and the trip happens off-screen. For a ride you control, buy a bike (Discover University and some other packs) or get a horse (Horse Ranch).

Steps
- To go to another lot, click the phone and choose Travel. Pick the lot on the map.
- Your Sim leaves and arrives on the new lot. No car is used.
- For a bike, buy one in Buy Mode. Bikes come with Discover University, Eco Lifestyle, Cottage Living, Growing Together and Businesses and Hobbies.
- Click the bike to ride it. With the bike in the Sim's inventory, click a spot in the world and choose to bike there.
- For a horse, you need the Horse Ranch expansion pack.
What about car mods?
Mods can add cars on PC and Mac. The Ownable Cars mod by Dark Gaia adds five cars you can buy for 10,000 to 20,000 Simoleons. The cars are not animated, so Sims do not drive them on screen.

Other ways to get around
Boats come with Island Living in the world of Sulani. Horses come with Horse Ranch. Otherwise, Sims walk or use the Travel option.
Common problems
I bought a car object but my Sim can't use it
Cars in Buy Mode are decoration. Use the phone's Travel option to go places.
I can't find a bike in Buy Mode
Bikes need a pack such as Discover University. Check that the pack is installed.
A car mod broke after a patch
Mods can stop working after updates. Remove the mod or get an updated version from the creator.
