How to start

  • Pick any Sim you like as the founder.
  • Move into the most expensive empty lot in the world, then use a cheat to set household money to 0.
  • No cheats except resetting a stuck Sim, removing money, and moving objects.
  • Any lifespan setting is allowed, and aging may be turned off.
  • With City Living you may start in an apartment instead: empty it, set money to 0, and you must later work up to owning the penthouse.

The rules

  • Several goals are locked until you finish their matching mandatory steps (home, garden, job, family).
  • Before you build: reach Handiness 5 and Logic 3, then pay a 500 simoleon fine (removed with the money cheat).
  • Until then you may not place anything on your lot except items your Sim can carry; seeds are not allowed.
  • Before a garden or anything outside the walls: finish the home steps, reach Handiness 7 and Gardening 5, own a bed, toilet, shower, fridge, counter, sink, stove, table, chair, smoke alarm and couch, and pay 500 for blueprints.
  • Before a job: have a built home with a bed, toilet, shower, sink, stove, counter, chair and fridge, and pay 1,000 for a degree.
  • Every working adult in the home (including the spouse) must meet the job steps.
  • Until you own a bed, sleep on public lots; no beds may be placed on public lots. An Outdoor Retreat tent is fine if bought with earned money and kept off your home lot.
  • Once you are fully friends with a Sim, you may stay one night per week at their home, eat there, and take one plate of food when you leave.
  • Before a house you can eat from foraging, public gardens and park grills.
  • Before marriage you need a starter home; the spouse must give up all money and belongings first.
  • Each toddler must max all toddler skills before aging up.
  • To become a teen: one skill at 5 plus top grades, or one skill at 10.
  • To become a young adult: two skills at 5 plus a part-time job, or two skills at 10.
  • Every marriage needs a paid, hosted wedding.
  • Household members other than the spouse and children may not earn money in any way.
  • Club activities that earn money (painting, writing) can't be cashed in until every main goal is done.

How you win
