Is there a Caracas life simulator game?
Caracas life simulator
Yes. LifeSim puts you in the real Caracas, on a 3D map of the real streets. You make a character and live there day by day. The people in the city have jobs, routines, and friends, and they remember you. It is free and runs in the browser.

Caracas sits in a high valley below the green peaks of El Ávila. People start their mornings with coffee at neighborhood bakeries, work in offices or street markets, and gather with family on weekends. A life here can be a university student at UCV or a baker in La Candelaria.
Where to live in Caracas
Altamira
A grand plaza with an obelisk, tree-lined streets, apartments, cafes, and bookstores.
La Candelaria
A central district known for family-run restaurants, traditional bakeries, and historic squares.
Las Mercedes
Modern office buildings, shopping centers, and busy streets where friends meet for dinner.
El Hatillo
Preserved colonial-style streets around a quiet central square and family homes in the hills.
Catia
An industrious western district with street markets, textile workshops, and active plazas.
A sample life: a first month in La Candelaria
Mateo, 22, starts a life in La Candelaria and studies at the Universidad Central de Venezuela. He sets two life goals: pass his classes and make close friends in the neighborhood. In his first week, he searches the map for a local bakery to get coffee and golfeados before class.
The baker remembers Mateo and asks about his university schedule. In week two, a classmate starts a group text and invites Mateo to an outing at Parque del Este. They walk the park together and talk as a group.
On Saturday night, a birthday party happening appears on the map in Las Mercedes. Mateo goes with his friends, and each day ends with a recap of its moments.
Seasons and mountain valley weather in Caracas
Caracas sits in a mountain valley about 900 meters above sea level, south of El Ávila National Park. Because of this altitude, the city has spring-like weather all year. Nights cool down to about 16°C, and afternoons warm up to around 28°C.
The dry season, called Verano, runs from December through April with blue skies and lower humidity. In November and December, cool air rolls down from the mountain, and locals say that Pacheco has arrived. The rainy season, Invierno, brings sunny mornings and brief afternoon showers from May through November. The 3D map in LifeSim shows the weather as you walk the streets.
Famous places to find on the Caracas map
You can use place search to find real landmarks across the valley and walk there with friends. Search for Plaza Francia in Altamira to meet near the obelisk, or walk the Bulevar de Sabana Grande. In the historic center, you can visit Plaza Bolívar de Caracas and the Panteón Nacional de Venezuela.
For green space, plan an outing to Parque del Este or walk along Paseo Los Próceres. You can also visit the Ciudad Universitaria de Caracas or the Teleférico Warairarepano station in Maripérez. Buildings show from the outside only, and there are no interiors.
Money and the cost of living in Caracas
In real life, living costs vary across the city. Eastern areas like Las Mercedes, Altamira, La Castellana, and Los Palos Grandes have the highest housing and dining costs. Districts like Chacao, El Cafetal, and La Florida sit in the middle. Western and southern parishes like Catia, El Valle, and Caricuao offer cheaper housing and lower market prices.
The official currency is the Venezuelan bolívar. However, people often price and pay for rent, groceries, and meals using US dollars in cash or via Zelle. For daily purchases in the local currency, residents use local bank cards and the Pago Móvil mobile payment system.
LifeSim does not charge rent or pay a regular salary. You do not pay bills or mortgages. Instead, your cash changes directly through the activities you do and the chats you have.
Work and universities in the city
The main industries in Caracas are banking, food processing, telecommunications, retail, healthcare, and higher education. Big employers include Empresas Polar, banks like Banesco and Mercantil, telecom companies like CANTV and Movistar, and Excelsior Gama supermarkets. Many people also work at universities such as UCV, Universidad Simón Bolívar, and Universidad Católica Andrés Bello.
Common jobs include bank clerks, software developers, professors, teachers, retail managers, and shopkeepers. To start your career in LifeSim, write your job and workplace into the character description box. There is no career ladder or promotion system, so your work life is about the coworkers and friends you meet.
