What is an AI character creator or generator?
AI character creator
An AI character creator is a tool that makes a game character from a text description. You write who the person is, and the AI fills in the look and the details. In LifeSim, you describe anyone in one text box, and the game draws a portrait and starts the life.
Play in the browserHow LifeSim does it
You type one description, for example "Maya Chen, 28, a kind florist in Paris. Curly brown hair, green eyes". The game reads the name, age, look, job, and city. Then it draws a portrait.
A Shuffle button makes a random life. You can also start from about 20 featured lives, or from lives that other players made. The June 2026 study counted 62,616 player-made characters.
After you create a character, you can change clothes and add emotes. You can edit the other people in your cast. The Sketch tool (desktop only) lets you draw on your character.

Can I make a famous character?
Yes. The home page has featured lives such as Spider-Man in New York and Harry Potter in Edinburgh. You can describe your own too.
Can I change the look after I create the character?
Yes. You can change clothes and add emotes. On desktop, the Sketch tool lets you draw on the character.
