Sims 4 worlds: every world, hidden lots and the best pick

The Sims 4 has 31 worlds on the world map in November 2026. The newest world is Ondarion, from Royalty & Legacy. That pack came out on February 12, 2026.

You read this on the LifeSim blog. We counted the worlds ourselves from the Wikipedia pack lists, and we show every world in the table below.

Sources do not give the same number. The reason is how each source counts.

• Sims Community lists 28 worlds in April 2025, from Oasis Springs to Nordhaven. Three worlds came after that list: Innisgreen, Gibbi Point and Ondarion. 28 plus 3 gives 31.
• Teoalida says 32 worlds shipped with the game, as of January 2026. The page does not show how it counts.
• Our count of 31 includes Magnolia Promenade, which has shops but no homes. It does not include Sixam or the Magic Realm. You reach those two places from other worlds, not from the world map.

Will The Sims 4 get new worlds?

Probably not through packs. In March 2026, EA said that it will deliver Kits and free content. Sims Community read this to mean no new expansion, game or stuff packs. The Sims Resource wrote on August 26, 2026 that Royalty & Legacy is the only expansion pack of 2026. EA did not say that Ondarion is the last world, so treat that as a guess.

Here is every Sims 4 world in release order, with the pack that adds it. “Residential” means that Sims can live there. “Vacation” means that Sims travel there for a few days and then go home.

Wikipedia gives the packs and dates. Sims Community calls Granite Falls, Selvadorada and Batuu vacation worlds. Wikipedia says that Mt. Komorebi has both homes and rental lots, so Sims can live there or visit it.

The base game has three worlds: Willow Creek, Oasis Springs and Newcrest. You get all three with the free base game.

• Willow Creek has houses, venues and families that the game makes for you. It also holds the hidden Sylvan Glade.
• Oasis Springs is a desert town with built houses and families. It holds the hidden Forgotten Grotto.
• Newcrest came in a free update in June 2015. Shacknews says it has three neighborhoods with five empty lots each. The lots go from 20x15 to 50x40.

Newcrest is the world for players who want to build every lot. You build your own houses and venues, or you download them from the Gallery.

Every expansion pack adds a world, except Seasons. Eight of the twelve game packs add a world. Stuff packs and Kits add no worlds.

• Expansion packs with no world: Seasons (2018). Read our Seasons guide for what it adds to every world instead.
• Game packs with no world: Spa Day, Dine Out, Parenthood and Dream Home Decorator.
• Game packs with a world: Outdoor Retreat, Vampires, Jungle Adventure, StrangerVille, Realm of Magic, Journey to Batuu, My Wedding Stories and Werewolves.

Some packs add a world that is a big part of the pack. San Myshuno is the city of apartments in our City Living overview. Sulani is the island of our Island Living guide. The town in StrangerVille holds the whole story of that pack.

Yes. The Sims 4 has hidden lots and two hidden places that are not on the world map. Players call them secret worlds. You unlock most of them with a skill, an object, or a short text adventure.

The steps come from Sims Community (2022) and TheSimsTree (2025). The two sources give the same text adventure choices. They give a different number of tree interactions for Sylvan Glade, so keep trying until the tree opens.

Do the new worlds have secret places?

Some do. Sims Community describes a hidden Electric Lagoon in Crystal Valley, in Gibbi Point. In Ondarion, the same site describes a secret island in the sea off Verdemar, with treasure. Neither place is a separate world.

No world is best for every player. Pick the world for the life that you want to play. Sims Community let readers vote and did not rank the worlds. Readers named Ravenwood, Sulani, Del Sol Valley, Henford-on-Bagley and Willow Creek in the comments.

Your Sims can visit most worlds as a day trip. For a club or party in a town with many venues, try Windenburg. Our Get Together guide shows what that pack adds.

Every save already holds every world that you own. When you install a new pack, its world shows up on the world map of your save. You do not need a special save to get the worlds.

An all worlds save is different. A player rebuilds or renovates the lots of every world, and you download that save. Our guide to Sims 4 save files lists the popular ones and shows how to install them.

• Back up your own saves before you add a downloaded one.
• Check the date of the save. A save made before Ondarion does not have Ondarion rebuilt.
• Expect missing objects. Lots lose the objects of packs that you do not own.

No. The Sims 4 has no tool to make a new world, unlike Create a World in The Sims 3. Snooty Sims says that no public tool can build a full custom world.

You can change the worlds that you have. Snooty Sims names these options:

• A blank save. Start a new save and delete the houses and families. Or download a blank save, such as Srslys Blank Save.
• New names. A rename mod and Sims 4 Studio can change the names of worlds.
• New map art. A map mod changes the look of the world map screen.
• T.O.O.L. This mod moves objects outside the lot grid. The objects stay tied to their lot.

TwistedMexi announced a Create-A-World mod in 2021. Snooty Sims said in March 2024 that it is still in alpha, with no release date.

• The exact rule that Teoalida uses to count 32 worlds. Its full list was behind a link that we did not open.
• The Sims Wiki list of worlds. The page did not load for us.
• The Deep Woods in Granite Falls. Only weak sources describe it, so we left it out of the table.
• The kind of each world. We took it from Wikipedia, Sims Community and lot counts. For Tartosa, Copperdale and Innisgreen, no page that we opened says “residential” in those words.
• Whether EA will sell new worlds in the Marketplace. EA said nothing about worlds in March 2026.
• Any pack that EA announced after the end of August 2026.
• Whether the steps for the Mt. Komorebi peak still cause the glitch that Sims Community warned about in 2022.
