Yes. LifeSim puts you in the real Chittagong, on a 3D map of the real streets. You make a character and live there day by day. It is free and runs in the browser or on iPhone.

Chittagong, whose official name is now Chattogram, is the main maritime gateway and commercial capital of Bangladesh. Daily life centers on trade, with wholesale markets, port traffic, and evening tea stalls. You can live in a coastal flat in Halishahar or work in a bank in Agrabad.

Agrabad

Khulshi
A hilly neighborhood where wealthy families and expats live near private clubs.
Halishahar
A planned coastal residential zone with apartment blocks and access to the beach.
Panchlaish
A residential and service hub with private hospitals, diagnostic centers, and schools.

An old wholesale market quarter where merchants trade spices, grains, and dry goods.
Seasons and weather in Chittagong
The city sits on the Karnaphuli River near the Bay of Bengal, with green hills and a coastline. From November to February, winter brings dry, mild, and sunny days. This is the most comfortable season for outdoor walks on CRB Hill or afternoon outings.
From March to May, the pre-monsoon summer is hot and humid. Sudden afternoon thunderstorms, called Kalbaishakhi, can hit the streets. From June to October, the monsoon brings heavy rain that can cause waterlogging in low-lying areas. The 3D map in LifeSim shows weather as you walk around.
A day in Chittagong in LifeSim
Say you start as a 28-year-old clearing and forwarding agent living in Halishahar. In the morning, you check your daily to-do list and search the map for an office in Agrabad. At lunch, you walk to Hotel Zaman and talk to a coworker in your own words.
In the afternoon, a friend texts you to plan an outing to the Ethnological Museum. Later, a house party happening appears on the map near GEC Circle, and you join the group. The day ends with a recap of your moments, and your friends remember what you said.
Money and the cost of living in Chittagong
In real life, living costs vary across Chittagong. Upscale residential areas like Khulshi and Nasirabad are the most expensive. Neighborhoods like Panchlaish, Mehedibag, and Halishahar offer mid-range apartments. Busy districts like Chawkbazar, Bahaddarhat, and Pahartali have cheaper housing.
The local currency is the Bangladeshi taka. People use cash for most daily purchases, including bus rides, roadside milk tea, and meals at local bhaat hotels. Mobile money services like bKash and Nagad are also common for everyday transfers, bills, and shop payments.
Supermarkets, malls, and modern restaurants in commercial hubs like Agrabad and GEC accept bank cards. LifeSim does not charge rent or pay a salary. Instead, your cash changes directly through the activities you do and the chats you have.
A sample life: a student's first week
Nadia, 20, moves to Panchlaish to study at Premier University. She writes her story into the character box and sets a life goal to make local friends. On day one, she searches the map for Chawk Bazar and chats with a shopkeeper.
On day three, two classmates add Nadia to a group text thread. They plan an outing to the Bayazid Bostami Shrine in Nasirabad and walk there together on the map. By the end of the week, they invite her to eat mezbani gosht and kala bhuna at Mezban Haile Aiyun.
Getting around Chittagong
Chittagong has no metro system. In real life, people ride numbered city buses like Route 10 from Kalurghat to Katgor, shared tempos, and the shuttle train to the University of Chittagong. Pedal rickshaws and green auto-rickshaws, called CNGs, handle daily trips, while cars use the Akhtaruzzaman Flyover.
In LifeSim, you do not ride buses or agree on fares with drivers. You move around on the 3D map of Earth. You search for a real place like New Market, Reazuddin Bazar, or the Chittagong War Cemetery, and your character walks there.
