Odd Jobs career

Odd Jobs have no set shifts, no fixed work days, and 0 paid days off per day worked. Every level from level 1 to level 6 lists a base hourly rate of 55 Simoleons. Instead of working regular shifts, you earn money per gig.

Gigs offer different flat payouts. For example, Needing Nom Noms pays 36 Simoleons, She Sells Seashells pays 61 Simoleons, and Lawn Maintenance pays 69 Simoleons. Frogs for Research pays 90 Simoleons, and Storm Repairs pays 560 Simoleons.

Some gigs offer much higher pay. The Ocean's Embrace pays 658 Simoleons, and Wedding Photographer pays 722 Simoleons. The top payout is Let's Make Art at 758 Simoleons.

The Odd Jobs track does not split into branches. You stay on one main track from level 1, Odd Job Ranking: None, up to level 6, Odd Jobs Rating: 5 Stars.

Because there is no branch to pick, your income depends on the gigs you choose and your traits. Picking high-paying tasks like Let's Make Art for 758 Simoleons or Wedding Photographer for 722 Simoleons gives the best returns. The Business Savvy trait also adds a 10% bonus to hourly pay at every level of the track.

When your work performance gets close to the promotion line, you have a 1% base chance of an early promotion. The track has no demotion chance listed in the game files.

You can also use cheats in Live mode to change your rating right away. Open the cheat console with Ctrl + Shift + C on PC or Cmd + Shift + C on Mac. Type testingcheats true first to enable cheats that need it.

Enter careers.promote OddJob to raise your star rating by one level. You can also use careers.add_career OddJob to join, careers.demote OddJob to drop a level, or careers.remove_career OddJob to quit.
