How the planner calculates weekly career pay
This planner ranks careers in The Sims 4 by total weekly income. You calculate pay per week by multiplying hourly pay, daily hours, and work days. Looking at weekly totals shows you what you actually bring home, rather than just comparing hourly rates.
Pay traits increase your hourly wage by a set percentage. For example, the Business Savvy trait adds 10% to your hourly pay. A degree with honors in your career field adds 36% or 41% to your hourly rate.
Other traits also boost your pay in most jobs. The Knowledge trait adds 30%, and the Valedictorian trait adds 15%. This planner excludes gig careers because they pay per gig instead of a weekly schedule.

Work-from-home and full-time careers offer the highest weekly paychecks in the game.
