The Distant phase gives your Sim 1 unique moodlet called Familial Distress. This moodlet gives a Tense emotion with a weight of 2. The moodlet has no timer, so it stays as long as its cause stays.
This phase trait does not add hidden multipliers to your Sim. It also does not replace any standard moodlets or give career pay bonuses. In addition, 0 interactions check for this trait.
Who gets the Distant phase and cheats
Only human Sims in the Infant and Teen age groups can have the Distant phase. It does not conflict with any other traits in the game. Specific interactions do not grant this trait directly.
You can add or remove this phase in Live mode using the cheat console. Press Ctrl + Shift + C on PC or Cmd + Shift + C on Mac to open the box. You do not need to type testingcheats true first.
