How to use aspiration and reward cheats
Start in Live mode and select the Sim you want to change. Open the cheat console by pressing Ctrl + Shift + C on PC, or Cmd + Shift + C on Mac. On PlayStation and Xbox, hold all four shoulder buttons at the same time. Type testingcheats true into the box and press Enter.
To finish your Sim's current aspiration stage and get its points, enter aspirations.complete_current_milestone. You can also finish a specific stage by internal name, such as typing aspirations.complete_aspiration aspiration_Knowledge_A1. If you only want store currency, type sims.give_satisfaction_points 5000 to add 5,000 points to your active Sim.
Players with the Get Famous pack can use three extra commands. Type famepoints 1000 to add 1,000 fame perk points for buying fame perks. Enter fame.set_freeze_fame true to lock your Sim's fame level, or replace true with false to let it change again. You can also enter fame.force_fame_moments true so random good or bad fame moments trigger whenever possible.
Common mistakes and what these cheats cannot do
Each command on this page requires you to turn on testing cheats first. If you enter a line and nothing happens, make sure you typed testingcheats true in the console. Also check that you are in Live mode, since these commands target your active Sim.
Note that aspirations.complete_current_milestone only finishes one milestone at a time, not the whole aspiration at once. You must enter the command again for each new stage. Meanwhile, aspirations.complete_aspiration needs an exact internal milestone name like aspiration_Knowledge_A1, so typing normal English names from the game menu will fail.
The fame commands do not work if you only have the base game. You need the Get Famous pack installed to use famepoints, fame.set_freeze_fame, or fame.force_fame_moments. Also remember that sims.give_satisfaction_points adds rewards store points, while famepoints only adds points for the Get Famous perk tree.
