What it does
- Each Sim gets a random immune level that changes how often and how long they are sick.
- Common illnesses like colds, sinus infections, bronchitis and stomach bugs.
- Chronic conditions such as asthma, allergies, migraines, diabetes and anxiety.
- Injuries and medical emergencies.
- Pregnancy checkups, prenatal vitamins and pregnancy complications.
- Medicine, vaccines and doctor visits booked from the phone.
- Health insurance plans tied to your Sim's job.
- Pick only the modules you want (allergies, conditions, disease, injuries, pregnancy, emergencies).

How to install it
- Install Lumpinou's Mood Pack, General Pie Menus and the included medications first.
- Download the core file and script, then add only the modules you want.
- Put the files in your Mods folder; keep script files no more than one folder deep.
- Turn on Script Mods Allowed in Game Options > Other and restart.
- Open settings by clicking your Sim and using the Actions menu.
Does it work with the latest patch?
In an Oct 25, 2026 post the creator said her mods were not affected by the latest patch and released Healthcare Redux v12.5 (Patreon version). That post came before the Oct 27, 2026 patch (1.129.39). As of Oct 28, 2026 no statement about 1.129.39 was found. The itch.io page does not show a version number or date for the public version.
After every game update, check the creator's page before you play. If the game breaks, read your newest error file with the LastException reader, and see what the last patch changed.
Known conflicts
- Works alongside GTW Health Overhaul, but Healthcare Redux replaces its add-on modules; you cannot mix modules from both.
- Creator says it does not conflict with Private Practice or SOL.
