What it does
- Each parent can approve, feel unsure or disapprove of the partner.
- Parents can get to know the partner by asking about school, plans, job and more.
- Parents react to public affection and to cheating.
- A disapproving parent can ban the partner from the home.
- Teens can sneak a banned partner over; getting caught has growing consequences.
- Parents who disagree can talk it out with each other.
- Parents can change their minds; the child can ask them to reconsider.
- In-game guide in the Lessons menu; adult children supported since v1.1.0.

How to install it
- Install XML Injector and Lumpinou's Mood Pack, and keep them up to date.
- Download the .ts4script and .package files from CurseForge or Patreon.
- Put both in your Mods folder; keep the script file no more than one folder deep.
- Turn on Script Mods Allowed in Game Options > Other and restart.
Does it work with the latest patch?
Latest version is v1.1.0 (Sept 12-13, 2026). The creator's site and CurseForge list it as made for game version 1.128.90. On Oct 14 and Oct 19, 2026 the creator noted reports that the pie menu does not show for some players and said a fix is planned. As of Oct 28, 2026 the creator has posted nothing about the Oct 27, 2026 patch (1.129.39).
After every game update, check the creator's page before you play. If the game breaks, read your newest error file with the LastException reader, and see what the last patch changed.
Known conflicts
- None listed. Mods that change relationship labels (for example to 'Betrothed') could hide the menu before v1.1.0; v1.1.0 supports Promised and MizoreYukii's Arranged Marriages Betrothed status.

The creator knows of reports and plans a fix. Before v1.1.0 it also hid if the couple was not labeled 'Partner'. Check her Discord for a diagnostic file.
Does Parental Boundaries work for adults?
Yes. Since v1.1.0, parents of young adult and adult Sims can also have opinions.
