What it does

Type exact move and rotate values for one object or a group.
Place and move objects outside lot borders.
Draw a selection shape of any outline, across several floors, to move many objects at once.
Rotate a group around its center or around each object's own axis.
Use Lot Alignment so moves follow a lot's angle, not the world grid (v3.0).
Stay Open option repeats the last action until you cancel.
Works in build mode with Shift+T when Better BuildBuy is installed.
Undo and redo for TOOL actions.

What it needs

Better BuildBuy only if you want TOOL inside build mode. Live mode needs no other mods.

How to install it

Delete any older copy of TOOL.
Open the zip (do not use extract options) and drag the Tmex-TOOL folder into your Mods folder root. Do not move or rename files.
Turn on Script Mods Allowed in Game Options > Other and restart.
In live mode, turn on testingcheats true, then shift-click an object for the TOOL menu.

Does it work with the latest patch?

Latest version is v3.2, a fix for the marketplace download screen. The post was published March 18, 2026 and last edited May 9, 2026. In a 'State of Mods' post (last edited May 15, 2026) TwistedMexi said his other mods were working. As of Oct 28, 2026 he has posted nothing about the Oct 27, 2026 patch (1.129.39).

After every game update, check the creator's page before you play. If the game breaks, read your newest error file with the LastException reader, and see what the last patch changed.
