Is there an Indianapolis life simulator game?
Indianapolis life simulator
Yes. LifeSim puts you in the real Indianapolis on a 3D map of the real streets. You make a character and live there day by day. The people in the city have jobs, routines, and friends, and they remember you. It is free and runs in your browser.
Start a life in IndianapolisLife in Indianapolis
Indianapolis sits along the White River in central Indiana and combines big city amenities with a relaxed Midwestern pace. Residents live in spread-out neighborhoods like Irvington or walkable downtown pockets along the Cultural Trail. A life here can be a medical researcher downtown or a musician in Fountain Square.
Where to live in Indianapolis
Broad Ripple Village
A lively north-side neighborhood with boutique cafés, a canal towpath, and nightlife along the Monon Trail.
Fountain Square
An artsy district southeast of downtown with vintage shops, duckpin bowling, and independent music venues.
Massachusetts Avenue
A diagonal downtown cultural district packed with independent theaters, art galleries, food halls, and loft apartments.
Meridian-Kessler

A tree-shaded east-side neighborhood known for Victorian homes, local bookshops, and an annual Halloween festival.
Food and going out in Indianapolis
Indianapolis has famous local foods. Residents eat breaded pork tenderloin sandwiches, fiery St. Elmo shrimp cocktail, and Sugar Cream Pie, also called Hoosier Pie. Locals call soft drinks pop and play card games like Euchre at pubs.
You can search for real food halls on the 3D map. Visit The Garage Food Hall in the Bottleworks District or The AMP at 16 Tech. On weekends, you can walk to the Broad Ripple Farmers Market.
For nightlife, search for venues along Massachusetts Avenue, like the Chatterbox Jazz Club. You can also visit Virginia Avenue in Fountain Square to see The Hi-Fi, or visit steakhouses in the Wholesale District.
Getting around the Circle City
In the real city, most people drive cars on the flat street grid inside the I-465 beltway. IndyGo runs public buses from the Julia M. Carson Transit Center, including the Red and Purple rapid lines. Many residents also walk or ride bikes on the Indianapolis Cultural Trail and the Monon Trail.
In LifeSim, you do not drive cars or ride buses. You move around by searching for any real street, trail, or landmark on the 3D map. Pick a spot, walk there on the real streets, and talk to the people you meet.
A sample life: a chemist's first month
Maya, 26, moves to a quiet street in Irvington to work as a pharmaceutical chemist. She sets two life goals: make close friends in her neighborhood and visit Newfields.
In week one, Maya searches for a local bookshop in Irvington and chats with a neighbor there. The neighbor remembers Maya's job the next time they text. In week two, a coworker starts a group text and plans an outing to The Garage Food Hall.
In week three, a pickup game appears on the map at Garfield Park. Maya joins the game, and her health and friendships change based on the activity.
A day in Indianapolis in LifeSim
Say you start as a 29-year-old software developer living in a loft on Massachusetts Avenue. In the morning, you check your daily to-do list and walk to a café on the Indianapolis Cultural Trail. You chat with the barista in your own words.
In the afternoon, a friend texts you to plan an outing to Gainbridge Fieldhouse downtown. Later, a house party happening appears on the map in Broad Ripple Village, and you go there together. The day ends with a recap of your moments, and your friends keep those memories in their journals.
