Yes. A paramedic simulator lets you experience emergency medical shifts, station routines, and life between calls. In LifeSim, you play a paramedic in any real city on a 3D map. It is free in your browser with no download.
A rookie paramedic on first lead calls in PittsburghHow to play a paramedic in LifeSim
- Write your paramedic's name, age, city, and shift routine in the character text box.
- Use place search on the 3D map to find a real hospital or ambulance station in your city.
- Talk to your ambulance partner and hospital staff in your own words, in person or by text.
- Set daily to-do items like rig checks and plan outings with friends on your days off.
What a paramedic life looks like in LifeSim
You play a paramedic one day at a time on a 3D map of a real city. In cities like Pittsburgh or Seattle, you can use place search to find a real hospital or fire station. Buildings show from the outside, and you act out your shifts in open text conversations.
Your ambulance partner, nurses, and neighbors have their own routines and memories. You can talk through a morning rig check, count medications, or discuss a tough night call. Years later, as your character ages, those same coworkers still remember your early shifts.
Life outside the ambulance station
Real paramedics work 12-hour or 24-hour rotating shifts, so days off matter. On your free days, you can plan an outing with your partner or friends to a real park or cafe. People text you on their own to invite you to group chats.
Happenings appear on your city map, such as a birthday party, karaoke, or a pickup game. You choose which events to attend after work. Keeping up with family and friends helps your health and relationships after long nights.
Prompts that work for a paramedic character
Describe your character in one text box with a name, age, city, and role. Try writing "Maya, 26, a newly licensed FDNY paramedic in New York who works night shifts near Bellevue Hospital." The game reads the city name and puts you on the real streets.
You can also include your ambulance partner or station history. Try "Liam, 34, a London Ambulance Service cycle response paramedic in London who trains new recruits." Or write "Kenji, 29, a Tokyo Fire Department paramedic in Tokyo who stays calm under pressure."
A sample life: night shifts in Seattle
Elena, 25, starts as a paramedic in Seattle, Washington. She sets a daily to-do list: meet her veteran partner for a rig check and finish her patient care reports. During the week, she walks to Harborview Medical Center on the map to talk with emergency room nurses.
On Friday, a hold-over call makes Elena miss her sister's birthday dinner. Her sister texts her about it the next morning and remembers the missed promise. Elena plans a Sunday outing to a Seattle coffee shop to make things right.
The hard parts of the job as story
Paramedics deal with sleep loss, sore backs, and ramping for hours in busy hospital hallways. You can play out this stress in your daily chats and watch how it affects your health and relationships. A tense argument with an exhausted partner during a midnight shift will stay in their journal.
You can also play out the good parts of emergency medicine. Talk through a successful cardiac arrest call with your crew or comfort a regular patient who calls every week. Every day ends with a recap of your moments.

Questions
Can I drive the ambulance or do medical mini-games?
No. LifeSim has no vehicle driving and no medical mini-games. If you want to drive an ambulance and use medical tools, play Ambulance Life or Flashing Lights.
Can I walk inside the hospital emergency room?
No. The 3D map shows real hospitals and ambulance stations from the outside only. You walk to the hospital entrance and play out the patient handover in chat.

Can I edit my ambulance partner or supervisor?
Yes. You can edit the people in your cast, including your EMT partner, station boss, or spouse. They remember your past conversations and shifts.
