What can you graft in The Sims 4?

Sims 4 grafting chart: every splicing recipe

The Sims 4 has 12 splicing recipes. Graft a cutting of one plant onto another, and the plant can also grow a rarer fruit or flower: Chrysanthemum and Tulip give Bird of Paradise, and Orchid and Pomegranate give the Death Flower. Sims can take cuttings and graft from Gardening level 4. Here is every recipe.

How to graft

  1. Raise the Gardening skill to level 4. Take Cutting and Graft unlock there, and Research Grafting at level 5.
  2. Take a cutting from a grown plant. The cutting goes to the Sim's inventory.
  3. Graft the cutting onto another grown plant. The plant now grows both fruits.
  4. If the two plants make a recipe below, the plant can also grow the third fruit or flower.

Every recipe is in the base game. A plant grows the result only now and then: the game picks each fruit by its rarity, so a rare fruit grows less often than a common one. Fruits and flowers count toward the gardening collection.
