Life in Venice

Venice is a city of more than 100 small islands in a lagoon in north-east Italy. There are no cars in the old city, so people walk or use water buses called vaporetti. Many workers live on the mainland in Mestre and come in each day.

How it works

  1. Describe your character in one text box. Name Venice in the text.
  2. The game reads the city from your text and puts you in the real Venice, on a 3D map.
  3. Live day by day. Go to real places, meet people, and talk to them in your own words.

Can I walk around Venice in LifeSim?

Yes. Your character walks the real lanes and bridges of Venice on the 3D map. Search for a place, such as the Rialto Bridge, and go there on foot.

Can I join the Venice Carnival in the game?

You can make your own carnival night. Plan an outing, invite people, pick a square, and walk there together.

Is the Venice game in Italian?

No. Everything you read and type in LifeSim is in English. The city itself is the real Venice.
