Buildings show from the outside only, so you talk to your audit manager in person on the street. At lunch, a client texts you about missing bank statements for a quarterly reconciliation. After work, you join a coworker's birthday drinks happening before reading your daily recap.

Accounting brings high stress during the busy season before corporate fiscal year-end closes and tax deadlines. In LifeSim, you play out late nights tracking billable hours and justifying your schedule to a strict boss. Long work hours and tense arguments can lower your health and hurt relationships with your family.

You also deal with uncooperative clients who bring a shoebox of crumpled receipts at midnight. If you miss a variance in an audit trail or argue with a department head, they write it in their journal. They bring up that mistake the next time you speak.
