A sample life: a fresh start in Montreal
Clara, 34, moves to Montreal, Canada, as a newly single mom with two kids. She edits her cast to add her son Leo, 8, and her daughter Maya, 6. In her first week, she sets a goal to build a local support network.
She uses place search to find the Biodome for a Saturday family outing. On Tuesday, a neighbor texts her to invite the kids to play in the local ruelle verte, a safe green alley. When Clara promises to bring snacks for the playdate, the neighbor remembers it on Friday.
How to set up a mom life
LifeSim has no pregnancy or baby care system. To start as a parent, write your children and your city into the character description box. Then open the cast menu to edit your kids, your partner, or a grandparent who helps with babysitting.
You can also add a school teacher, a boss, or another parent from the PTA to your cast. Set your calendar with school dates, doctor checkups, and family birthdays. Each person in your cast gets their own routine, goals, and memories.
What a mom life looks like day by day
You manage the daily routine and the household mental load one day at a time. In the morning, you talk to your kids about homework and school lunches before drop-off. During the day, a coworker or your child's teacher can text you on their own.
The city around you shapes your family routine. In Munich, primary school often finishes at midday, so you arrange afternoon care called Hort. In Tokyo, grade-school kids walk to the local jidōkan or take the train on their own. At night, the day ends with a recap of your family moments.
Goals and to-do lists for a parent
Life goals give your story direction over months and years. You can set a goal to return to your career, organize the school bake sale, or prepare an older teen for adulthood. Your character and your cast age through life stages as time moves forward.
Your daily to-do list covers the small tasks that keep the household running. Good items include "buy new shoes for Leo", "ask my manager for a remote work day", or "plan a Sunday outing to Tivoli Gardens". Completing activities and chats changes your cash, your health, and your family relationships.
