Is there a marriage life simulator game?
Married life simulator
Yes. A marriage life simulator lets you live out daily life with a spouse, from shared routines to family dinners. In LifeSim, you play a newlywed in a real city on a 3D map. The game is free in your browser with no download.
A newlywed hosting a first family dinner in ParisHow to start this life in LifeSim
- Describe your newlywed in the text box, including your age, job, spouse, and a real city.
- Edit your spouse and in-laws in the cast menu to set their looks and roles.
- Write a daily to-do list for post-wedding tasks, like writing thank-you notes or updating records with HR.
- Use place search to find a real café, park, or restaurant, and plan an outing there with your spouse.
A sample life: newlyweds in Montreal
Chloe, 28, starts her first week as a newlywed in Montreal, Canada, with her husband, Marc. Under the Civil Code of Québec, both keep their birth names on their official documents. Chloe sets a daily to-do list: write thank-you notes to guests and unpack the remaining wedding boxes.
On Saturday, they find three identical antique toaster ovens with no gift cards attached. Chloe starts a group text thread with her parents and new in-laws to solve the duplicate gift mystery. On Sunday, she plans an outing to Mount Royal Park with friends from their wedding party. When they talk, Marc remembers their earlier debate about kitchen chores and brings it up.
What married life looks like in LifeSim
You live married life one day at a time on a 3D map of Earth. Your spouse has a job, a weekday routine, a weekend routine, and long-term plans. You talk in your own words in person or by text message, with no dialogue menus.
There are no house interiors, mortgages, or cooking mini-games. Instead, you negotiate daily habits like sleep schedules, grocery lists, and holiday plans through open conversation. Your spouse keeps a journal of past events and remembers promises you make.
You also manage relationships with parents, in-laws, and friends from your wedding party. People text you on their own to invite you to happenings like birthday drinks or karaoke. Each day ends with a recap of your moments together.
Cities for starting a married household
Name any city in your character description, and the game places you on its real streets. In Paris, France, civil marriages take place at a town hall, called a mairie, and couples receive a family booklet. Newlyweds there can walk to historic parks and neighborhood bistros.
In Kyoto, Japan, couples file a kon'in todoke registration and can walk along quiet riverside paths and traditional gardens. Melbourne, Australia, suits active couples with its laneway coffee shops, beachside suburbs, and weekend markets.
Lisbon, Portugal, offers sunny viewpoints called miradouros and coastal towns for weekend outings. In the United States, where name changes and joint taxes are optional, Austin offers live music venues and lakes.
How other games handle marriage
Other games focus on different parts of marriage. If you want to build and furnish a shared house room by room, The Sims 4 does that better. Its My Wedding Stories pack lets you customize ceremonies in the fictional world of Tartosa.
Farming games like Stardew Valley and Coral Island add marriage onto farm chores and town events. BitLife handles marriage through text menus where you sign prenuptial agreements and manage joint bank assets.
LifeSim has no room building or farming mini-games. Instead, it gives you real cities on a 3D map and a spouse who talks in open text.

Questions
Can I decorate our apartment or buy furniture?
No. Buildings show from the outside only, and there are no rooms or furniture systems. You play out home compromises, like unpacking wedding gifts or blending decor styles, in text conversations.
Can we have a baby or adopt a pet?
No. LifeSim has no pregnancy, baby care, or pet systems. You can edit your cast to include older kids or focus on your life with your spouse and friends.
Do spouses have to change their last name when they marry?
Rules depend on the country. In Japan, married nationals must choose one shared surname on their family register, called a koseki. In Quebec, Canada, spouses legally keep their birth names on civil documents.
Can I edit my spouse in the game?
Yes. You can edit your partner in your cast to set their name, look, and job. They have their own daily routine, goals, and memories of what you say.
Is there a free marriage simulator?
