Outdoorsy is a Lifestyle trait in The Sims 4, and it comes with the Snowy Escape pack. It applies to human Sims from the Newborn stage through the Elder stage.
This trait swaps two standard moodlets for outdoor versions when your Sim gets them. It does not add any hidden skill multipliers, career pay bonuses, or special interactions.

What the Outdoorsy trait changes in play
The Outdoorsy trait replaces two regular moodlets with custom versions. When your Sim would normally get the Quality Time moodlet, they get Quality Time Outdoors instead. When they would get the Good Walk moodlet, they receive Nice Outdoor Walk instead.
These replacement moodlets do not change how your Sim feels or how long the feeling lasts. Quality Time Outdoors still gives a Happy weight of 1 for 2 hours, or 120 Sim minutes. Nice Outdoor Walk still gives an Energized weight of 1 for 2 hours, which is 120 Sim minutes.
Outside of these two name swaps, the trait has no other mechanical effects in the game files. It gives no constant moodlets, no unique moodlets of its own, and 0 interactions check for it.
Conflicts, eligible Sims, and Outdoorsy cheats
Human Sims of any age can have the Outdoorsy trait, including Newborns, Infants, Toddlers, and Children. Teens, Young Adults, Adults, and Elders can also have it. However, it conflicts with the Indoorsy trait, so your Sim cannot have both at the same time.
No single interaction directly gives this trait, so you can use the cheat console in Live mode. Press Ctrl + Shift + C on PC or Cmd + Shift + C on Mac to open the box. You do not need to turn on testing cheats first.
Type traits.equip_trait trait_Lifestyles_Outdoorsy to add the trait to your active Sim. If you want to delete it, type traits.remove_trait trait_Lifestyles_Outdoorsy instead.
