You do not work a set weekly schedule in the Actor career. Every level from 1 to 10 lists no hourly pay and 0 paid time off per day. Instead of earning a base salary by level, your income comes from the specific gigs you take.
Commercial gigs pay the least, starting at 140 to 425 Simoleons for Vladislaus Hardware. Low-budget TV gigs like Growing up Crumplebottom pay between 450 and 1,200 Simoleons. High-budget TV roles like ZBB: Apocalypse Rising pay up to 2,825 Simoleons.
Movie gigs offer the highest pay in this career. For example, Captain Sigma: Olympus Landing pays between 3,085 and 6,575 Simoleons. Treasures of Aarbyville is another top movie gig, paying from 3,115 to 6,550 Simoleons.

When your work performance is close to the promotion line, you have a 1 percent base chance for an early promotion. The Entrepreneurial trait multiplies this chance by 10. The Growth Mindset moodlet multiplies this chance by 5.
If your performance drops to the demotion line at the end of work, there is a 100 percent base demotion chance. The Professional Slacker trait multiplies this demotion chance by 0, which prevents demotions. If you quit the career, the level you would rejoin at drops by one every 2 days.
