Daily schedule and pay in the Reaper career

From level 1 to level 8, your Sim works five days a week for 8 hours a day. You begin with a standard Monday through Friday morning shift starting at 09:00. Middle levels move your start times to the afternoon and add weekend shifts. You earn 0.2 paid days off per work day at level 1, which grows to 0.5 at level 10.

Weekly pay rises steadily as your hourly rate increases from 25 Simoleons to 421 Simoleons. At level 9, your schedule drops to 7 hours a day for 35 hours per week. Level 10 cuts your work week to four days and 28 hours total, while paying 11,788 Simoleons per week.

Career track options and bonus pay

The Reaper career does not split into branches. Every Sim follows the same path to the level 10 Reaper title and its 11,788 Simoleons weekly pay. Because there is only one track, you do not have to choose between different specialties.

You can increase your hourly pay at every level with specific traits and degrees. A Communications Degree (BS, honors) adds a 41% bonus to your hourly rate. A regular Communications Degree (BS) adds 39%, while a BA with honors adds 36% and a standard BA adds 32%.

Other traits also boost your pay. The Knowledge trait gives a 30% bonus, and the Valedictorian trait adds 15%. You get a 10% raise from Business Savvy, Graduated High School Early, or Graduated with Honors.

How to get promoted faster and use cheats

When your work performance is close to the promotion line, you have a 1% base chance for an early promotion. The Entrepreneurial trait multiplies this chance by 10. Having the Growth Mindset moodlet multiplies the chance by 5.

If your performance hits the bottom line at the end of a shift, you face a 100% demotion chance. The Professional Slacker trait multiplies this demotion chance by 0, which prevents demotions. If you quit the job, the level you rejoin at drops by one every 2 days.

You can also use cheats in Live mode to change your career level right away. Open the cheat console with Ctrl + Shift + C on PC or Cmd + Shift + C on Mac. Type testingcheats true, then enter careers.promote Active_Reaper to advance one level, or careers.add_career Active_Reaper to join.
