Three studies of The Sims 4, built from the numbers in its game files: every death ranked by its odds, every personality trait ranked by how often the game checks for it, and the pay of every career level. Each has a chart you can embed, a CSV, and its method.

The studies
- DataEvery way to die in The Sims 4, ranked by the oddsThe Sims 4 has 36 ways to die. 17 of them are a roll of the dice, from 0.5% per serving eaten for pufferfish up to 100%: 4 rolls climb to 99.99% or more when the wrong conditions stack up. The rest follow a timer or are certain once they start. Every number here is read from the game files.
- DataAll 97 Sims 4 personality traits, ranked by how often the game checks for themWe ranked all 97 personality traits for human Sims by how many named interactions test for them in the game files. Childish leads with 32, then Evil (17) and Mean (14). 22 traits have none.
- DataSims 4 career pay: every career and every levelThe game files set the pay of 495 career levels. The best-paid full-time career is Military (Officer / Covert Operator), at §16,880 a week at its top. Nobles earn more, §21,168, as they are paid around the clock. Here is every level.
