Bring your Kindroid into LifeSim

Yes, as text and screenshots. Copy your Kindroid's Personality text and take screenshots of the avatar. Paste both in the LifeSim builder, and your Kindroid becomes a person in your new life.

Copy the text of the character and take screenshots of the profile. This works for any app. LifeSim is not made by Kindroid and is not connected to it. The import only reads what you give it.

Import a character

  1. Open your Kindroid's settings.
  2. Open Personality. Kindroid used to call this field Backstory.
  3. Copy the Personality text.
  4. Add the facts from Key Memories that matter most to you.
  5. Take screenshots of the avatar.

The Personality field holds up to 2,000 characters, or 2,500 with a subscription. It fits in the 8,000 characters that LifeSim takes.

The Example Message and the Response Directive tell the AI how to write. They don't carry over.

  1. Press Import a character on this page. It opens the LifeSim builder with the import sheet open. In the builder, the same button is next to the + in the row of people.
  2. Paste the text of the character, up to 8,000 characters.
  3. Add up to 4 screenshots (3 as a guest). LifeSim reads the text in them and draws the looks from them.
  4. LifeSim writes the person. Check each field, and change anything you want. Then start your life.
  • The first and last name
  • The age and the gender
  • Who they are to you, for example "my roommate" or "my boyfriend"
  • A job
  • The personality
  • The past
  • A life goal
  • The looks. LifeSim draws a new portrait in its own style, from the avatar or the screenshots.
  • Your chat history, and what the character remembers from your chats
  • The voice
  • The original picture. LifeSim only uses it to draw a new one.
  • Example dialogues
  • Lorebooks
  • System prompts and instructions to the AI, as such

Up to 6 people come in with one import. A life can start with you and up to 15 other people. You can edit every field after the import.

LifeSim is rated 13+. Sexual content never comes over. When a character has some, the import leaves it out and tells you. When a character is built around sexual content, the import refuses it, and nothing is added.

Characters under 18 get no romantic or sexual details. Imported people pass the same checks as anything you type in the builder.

LifeSim reads the link, the file, or the text to write the people. It stores the screenshots you add on its servers.

LifeSim is a free life sim. You pick a real city on a 3D map of Earth, and you live there. The people you import live there too. They have homes, jobs, and friends, and their week goes on while you are away.

You talk to them in your own words, and they remember what you said. It plays in the browser at play.lifesim.com, and there is an iPhone app. There are no ads and nothing to buy. Read what LifeSim is.

Do my Kindroid's memories come over?

No. People in LifeSim talk in text.

Can I import a Kindroid group?

Import each Kindroid one by one. A life can start with you and up to 15 other people.

Does my Kindroid look the same?

LifeSim draws a new portrait in its own style, from your screenshots.
