Bring a SpicyChat character into LifeSim

Not as a link: the SpicyChat site blocks LifeSim's server. Copy the character's text instead, and take screenshots of the profile. LifeSim keeps the character and leaves out any sexual content.

Copy the text of the character and take screenshots of the profile. This works for any app. LifeSim is not made by SpicyChat and is not connected to it. The import only reads what you give it.

Import a character

LifeSim is rated 13+. Sexual content never comes over. When a character has some, the import leaves it out and tells you. When a character is built around sexual content, the import refuses it, and nothing is added.

Characters under 18 get no romantic or sexual details. Imported people pass the same checks as anything you type in the builder.

LifeSim reads the link, the file, or the text to write the people. It stores the screenshots you add on its servers.

  1. Open the character on spicychat.ai.
  2. Copy the name and the title.
  3. Copy the greeting: the first message of the chat.
  4. If the definition is public, copy the personality and the scenario too. SpicyChat marks a public definition with a purple "i" icon.
  5. Take screenshots of the profile, with the picture. LifeSim draws the looks from them.

SpicyChat creators choose if the definition is public. A private definition hides the personality, the scenario, and the example dialogue. Then copy the name, the title, and the greeting.

You can leave the example dialogue out. It does not carry over.

  1. Press Import a character on this page. It opens the LifeSim builder with the import sheet open. In the builder, the same button is next to the + in the row of people.
  2. Paste the text of the character, up to 8,000 characters.
  3. Add up to 4 screenshots (3 as a guest). LifeSim reads the text in them and draws the looks from them.
  4. LifeSim writes the person. Check each field, and change anything you want. Then start your life.
  • The first and last name
  • The age and the gender
  • Who they are to you, for example "my roommate" or "my boyfriend"
  • A job
  • The personality
  • The past
  • A life goal
  • The looks. LifeSim draws a new portrait in its own style, from the avatar or the screenshots.
  • Your chat history, and what the character remembers from your chats
  • The voice
  • The original picture. LifeSim only uses it to draw a new one.
  • Example dialogues
  • Lorebooks
  • System prompts and instructions to the AI, as such

Up to 6 people come in with one import. A life can start with you and up to 15 other people. You can edit every field after the import.

LifeSim is a free life sim. You pick a real city on a 3D map of Earth, and you live there. The people you import live there too. They have homes, jobs, and friends, and their week goes on while you are away.

You talk to them in your own words, and they remember what you said. It plays in the browser at play.lifesim.com, and there is an iPhone app. There are no ads and nothing to buy. Read what LifeSim is.

Why doesn't a SpicyChat link work in LifeSim?

The SpicyChat site blocks LifeSim's server, so LifeSim can't read the page. Copy the text and take screenshots instead.

Does adult content from SpicyChat carry over?

No. LifeSim is rated 13+. The import leaves sexual content out and tells you. If a character is built around sexual content, the import refuses it, and nothing is added.

Can I see a SpicyChat character's definition?

Only when its creator made the definition public. A private definition hides the personality, the scenario, and the example dialogue.

Do my SpicyChat chats come over?

No. Chats and memories stay in SpicyChat. The person starts fresh in LifeSim.
