Bring your Paralives household into LifeSim

Yes. Add the household's folder from Paralives, or a .zip of it, in the LifeSim builder. Each Para becomes a person in your new life, in a real city. You choose which one you play. It is free.

Add the household's folder, or a .zip of it. LifeSim is not made by Paralives Studio and is not connected to Paralives. The import only reads what you give it.

Import your household

  1. On Windows, open %USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Paralives\Paralives. On a Mac, the folder is usually ~/Library/Application Support/Paralives/Paralives.
  2. Open MyPremadeHouseholds.mod for the households that you saved, or MySavedGames.mod for your towns.
  3. A household is a folder whose name ends in .household. It holds one .character folder for each Para.
  4. Add that folder, or a .zip of it. You can also add a whole saved town. LifeSim lists its households, and you choose one.

LifeSim reads the names, the age, the gender, the traits, the skills, the jobs, the family ties such as Spouse or Child, the money, the biography, and the portrait of each Para.

Paralives is in early access. An update can change its files. If an import fails, take screenshots and write a few lines instead.

You choose the Para you play, or none of them. The others become the people of your life.

  1. Press the import button on this page. It opens the LifeSim builder with the import sheet open and the game chosen. In the builder, the same sheet is next to the + in the row of people.
  2. Add the files of the household, its whole folder, or a .zip of it. The builder opens the files on your device.
  3. If the files hold more than one household, choose one.
  4. Choose the member you play, or none of them. LifeSim writes a person for each of the others.
  5. Check each person, change anything you want, and start your life.
  • Every member of the household, up to 8: the first and last name, the age, and the gender
  • Who they are to you, from the family tree: "my wife", "my son", "my roommate"
  • The job, from the career and its level, or "student" and "retired"
  • The personality, from the traits
  • A life goal, from the aspiration
  • The past: skills, degrees, the household story, and more
  • Starting money, from the household funds
  • The looks. LifeSim draws a new portrait in its own style, from the portraits that the game saved.
  • Pets. LifeSim has no pets, so the past of their owner names them instead, for example "Lives with Buddy, a dog."
  • Custom traits, careers, and aspirations from mods
  • The house, the lot, and the furniture. Your household gets a home in a real city.
  • Custom content files, such as hair and clothes. They can show in the portraits that LifeSim reads.
  • Other Sims of the town. A full Sims 4 save brings up to 4 close ones along.

LifeSim reads the link, the file, or the text to write the people. It stores the screenshots you add on its servers.

LifeSim is rated 13+. Imported people pass the same checks as anything you type in the builder.

LifeSim is a free life sim. You pick a real city on a 3D map of Earth, and you live there. The people you import live there too. They have homes, jobs, and friends, and their week goes on while you are away.

You talk to them in your own words, and they remember what you said. It plays in the browser at play.lifesim.com, and there is an iPhone app. There are no ads and nothing to buy. Read what LifeSim is.
