Daily schedule and pay for Divers
Every level in the Diver career uses the same evening schedule. You work Monday through Friday, starting at 17:00 for 3 hours a day. This adds up to 15 hours of work each week.
You start at level 1 as a Snorkel Guide, earning 45 Simoleons per hour and 675 Simoleons per week. At level 2, you become a Scuba Instructor and make 59 Simoleons per hour, or 885 Simoleons per week. Level 3 is Sunken Treasure Hunter, paying 70 Simoleons per hour and 1,050 Simoleons per week.
You earn 0.25 paid days off per workday at levels 1 and 2, and 0.5 days at level 3. Certain traits boost your hourly pay. You get 10% more from Business Savvy, Graduated High School Early, or Graduated with Honors, 15% from Valedictorian, and 30% from The Knowledge.
Diver career tracks and top pay
Because the Diver career is a part-time job, it does not split into separate branches. You follow one main track from level 1 to level 3. The top regular weekly pay on this single track is 1,050 Simoleons.
Once you reach level 3, you can still earn raises through overmax levels. Each overmax promotion adds 10 Simoleons to your hourly pay. If you quit the job, the level you rejoin at drops by 1 every 2 days.
Faster promotions and Diver career cheats
When your work performance is close to the promotion line, you have a 1% base chance of an early promotion. The Entrepreneurial trait multiplies this chance by 10, while the Growth Mindset moodlet multiplies it by 5. If your performance falls to the demotion line, the base demotion chance is 100%, though the Professional Slacker trait drops that multiplier to 0.
