How long does the Commanded moodlet last in The Sims 4?

Commanded moodlet

Commanded is a moodlet with 6 versions; the strongest is Dazed +10. It lasts 20 minutes to 4 hours. Remove it with sims.remove_buff buff_MindPowers_Command_Sit after testingcheats true.

The Commanded moodlet in The Sims 4 comes from the Vampires game pack. It pushes your Sim toward the Dazed emotion with a weight of 10. The emotion with the highest total weight becomes your Sim's main mood.

The game includes 6 versions of the Commanded moodlet. None of these versions add hidden multipliers or change because of your Sim's traits. The length of the moodlet depends on which command triggers it.

What gives the Commanded moodlet and its timers

Specific interactions from the Vampires pack give your Sim the Commanded moodlet. Command to Wake Up gives a version that lasts 20 minutes in Sim time. Command to Be Mean gives a version that lasts 30 minutes in Sim time.

Other commands keep your Sim Dazed for 4 hours, or 240 Sim minutes. These long commands include Command to Repair, Command to Clean, and Command to Workout. One version has no timer and lasts as long as its cause stays active.

How to remove or avoid the Commanded moodlet

You can avoid this moodlet by not using the command interactions on your Sim. If your Sim already has a timed version, you can wait for the timer to run out. For the version without a timer, you must stop the cause that keeps it active.

You can also remove a specific version with a cheat in Live mode. Press Ctrl + Shift + C on PC or Cmd + Shift + C on Mac to open the console. Type testingcheats true, then enter sims.remove_buff buff_MindPowers_Command_Sit to clear that version from your active Sim.
