Fastest ways to level the Dancing skill
Your Sim's emotion changes how fast you earn Dancing skill points. Being Energized gives a 1.4 multiplier to skill gain, and being Very Energized raises that multiplier to 1.6. You should avoid practicing while Sad or Very Sad, because those emotions drop your gain multiplier to 0.8 and 0.6.
Several moodlets also multiply your Dancing skill gains, and multiple active boosts multiply together. The Athletic Pick Me Up and Prancing Lessons moodlets each give a 2 multiplier.
