This trait has no hidden multipliers, career pay bonuses, or moodlet replacements. It also adds no always-on moodlets or unique moodlets of its own.

Instead, the game uses this trait in tests for 5 specific interactions. These include Comment on Appearance, Point Out Flaws, and Discipline - Encourage. The other interactions that check for it are Unintentionally Crush Dreams and Unintentionally Insult Interests.

Human Sims can have this trait as an Infant, Young Adult, Adult, or Elder. A Sim cannot have Bad Manners and Good Manners at the same time. In regular play, a Sim earns it by having negative manners.
