Moodlet replacements and interactions for the Evil trait

This trait does not have always-on moodlets, unique standalone moodlets, career pay bonuses, or hidden multipliers. Instead, it changes how your Sim reacts to the A New Enemy moodlet. Normally, that moodlet makes a Sim Angry with a weight of 2 for 4 hours.

With the Evil trait, your Sim gets the New Enemy moodlet instead. This replacement gives a Happy emotion with a weight of 2, and it lasts for 6 hours. The emotion with the largest total weight becomes the mood of your Sim.

The game checks for the Evil trait during 8 interactions, sometimes among other traits. These include Discuss Evil Plans, Dismiss Goodness, Argue about Morals, and Write Angry Note For. Other checked interactions are Change Love Declarations, Treadmill Accident, Use Thioacetone Oil, and Give University "Donation" to Boost Chances for.

Who gets the Evil trait and how

Human Sims can have this trait at the Child, Teen, Young Adult, Adult, and Elder ages. It conflicts with the Generous trait, so a Sim cannot have both at the same time.

Your Sim can receive this trait during gameplay through the Gift to interaction. You can also add or remove it in Live mode using the cheat console.

Press Ctrl + Shift + C on PC or Cmd + Shift + C on Mac to open the console. Type traits.equip_trait trait_Evil_BegoniaScent to add the trait, or type traits.remove_trait trait_Evil_BegoniaScent to remove it. These cheats do not need testingcheats true.
