Is there a Phuket life simulator game?

Phuket life simulator

Life in Phuket

Phuket is Thailand's largest island, sitting in the Andaman Sea and linked to the mainland by the Sarasin Bridge. Daily life splits between busy west-coast beach resorts and inland towns where Thai Buddhist, Baba-Peranakan, and Muslim traditions meet. People work in hospitality, healthcare, and marine services, and gather at night markets like Chillva Market for Mee Hokkien and Moo Hong.

Where to live in Phuket

Phuket Old Town

Sino-Portuguese shophouses, traditional teahouses, local schools, and cocktail bars along Soi Romanee.

Patong

A fast, noisy grid of hotels, Jungceylon mall, Banzaan Fresh Market, and neon nightlife on Bangla Road.

Cherng Talay (Bang Tao)

Gated villa estates, modern condos, golf courses, and sunset beach clubs for expats and wealthy locals.

Rawai

A relaxed southern coast with longtail boat piers, a Sea Gypsy village, Muay Thai gyms, and seafood markets.

Kathu

An inland valley between town and the beach with Prince of Songkla University, housing estates, and street food.

A sample life: a remote worker's first month

Leo, 29, moves to Rawai at the southern tip of Phuket to work remotely. He writes his character text, sets a goal to make local friends, and edits his neighbor to be a Muay Thai trainer.

In his first week, Leo searches the 3D map for a cafe near the longtail boat piers. He chats with the barista in his own words, and she remembers his morning routine the next day. By week two, his neighbor texts him on his own to invite him to a seafood market.

In week three, Leo plans an outing to Promthep Cape with three friends from his group text thread. They walk to the viewpoint together and talk as a group. Each person keeps a journal of these memories as the days pass.

A day in Phuket in LifeSim

Say you start as a 26-year-old hotel receptionist living in Phuket Old Town. You check your daily to-do list and walk down Thalang Road past the colorful Sino-Portuguese shophouses. For breakfast, you stop at a local shop where people eat Khanom Jeen Phuket or drink traditional Kopi.

In the afternoon, you take a break at Khao Rang Viewpoint and text your coworkers. Later, a birthday drinks happening appears on the map along Soi Romanee. You join the gathering, talk to the guests, and your cash and relationships change based on your activities. The day ends with a recap of your moments.

Neighborhoods in Phuket for different lives

Different parts of the island fit different character stories. Students at Prince of Songkla University often live in Kathu, an inland valley with affordable apartments and street-food stalls. Phuket Town and Ratsada also have lower everyday costs and morning markets like the one on Ranong Road.

Artists and quiet-life seekers often pick Phuket Old Town for its teahouses and the Lard Yai Sunday Walking Street Market. Families and expats with higher budgets choose Cherng Talay and Bang Tao for gated villas and international schools. Newcomers who want a mid-range coastal life pick Rawai or Chalong, while nightclub workers head straight for Bangla Road in Patong.

Getting around Phuket and the game map

In the real Phuket, most residents commute by motorbike or car along busy roads like Thepkasattri Road and Patong Hill. Public transit includes open-air blue Songthaews running from Ranong Road to the beaches, and the Phuket Smart Bus along the west coast. Inside Old Town, people ride the free Dragon Line electric shuttle or walk.

In LifeSim, you do not ride buses or drive scooters. You use the place search to find any real spot on the 3D map, from Sirinat National Park to Wat Chalong. You pick a destination, go there directly, and talk to the people walking around.

How it works

  1. Describe your character in one text box. Name Phuket in the text.
  2. The game reads the city from your text and puts you in the real Phuket, on a 3D map.
  3. Live day by day. Go to real places, meet people, and talk to them in your own words.

Questions

Can I visit Patong Beach or Phuket Old Town in the game?

Yes. The 3D map includes all of Phuket. You can search for Patong Beach, Thalang Road in Phuket Old Town, or Promthep Cape and walk there.

Can I ride a motorbike or drive a boat in Phuket?

No. LifeSim does not have vehicles you drive or diving mini-games. You move around the island by searching for places on the map and walking with friends.

Can I buy a villa in Bang Tao or pay rent?

No. The game has no rent, bills, or home buying systems, and buildings only show from the outside. You can write a Bang Tao villa into your character story, or draw a 3D building on desktop.

Is the game in the Thai language?

No. LifeSim is in English only. Characters talk to you in English, while places like Wat Chalong and Sarasin Bridge keep their real names.

What are the real seasons in Phuket?

Phuket has a dry season from December to March and a hot season from April to early May. The rainy southwest monsoon runs from mid-May to October, when red flags on west-coast beaches warn against dangerous rip currents.
