How the Generous trait changes gameplay

The Generous trait gives your Sim a hidden ×2 multiplier to friendship gains. This effect multiplies with other effects to make your Sim build friendships much faster.

This trait does not add any moodlets or replace existing moodlets. It also has 0 interactions that check for it and gives no career pay bonuses.

Trait conflicts, availability, and cheat codes

You can give the Generous trait to human Sims who are Teens, Young Adults, Adults, or Elders. Because it focuses on building friendships, it conflicts with the Glutton, Materialistic, Mean, Evil, and Grouch traits.

You select this trait in Create a Sim if you own the For Rent pack. You can also add or remove it in Live mode by opening the cheat console.
