The Reborn trait does not add any own moodlets or always-on moodlets to your Sim. It also does not replace any usual moodlets when a trigger happens. It adds no hidden multiplier effects or career pay bonuses.

Instead, the game uses this trait in interaction tests. A total of 6 interactions check for the Reborn trait when determining their availability.

The tests for Peer Into Soul, Re-encounter Soulmate, and Recall Past Life check for this trait. The tests for Recognize Familiar Name, Talk about Odd Familiarity, and Talk about Strange Connection also check for it.

How a Sim gets the Reborn trait

This trait suits human Sims from the Newborn stage through the Elder stage. Because it has no trait conflicts, you can combine it with any other trait in the game. A Sim gets the Reborn trait through Rebirth, and no interactions give it directly.

You can also add or remove the trait in Live mode using the cheat console. Press Ctrl + Shift + C on PC, or Cmd + Shift + C on Mac, to open the box. On consoles, press the four shoulder buttons at the same time.
