Shameless is a bonus and reward trait in The Sims 4 base game. You can buy it from the Rewards Store for human Sims. It is available to Newborn, Infant, Toddler, Child, Teen, Young Adult, Adult, and Elder Sims.

This trait replaces several Embarrassed moodlets with Fine moodlets instead. It does not have any conflicting traits, and 0 interactions check for it directly.

Open the cheat console with Ctrl + Shift + C and type the line. It works without testingcheats. It gives the trait to the Sim you control (how traits.equip_trait works).

How the Shameless trait changes moodlets

When a Sim with the Shameless trait would get specific Embarrassed moodlets, the game replaces them. The Sim gets a Fine moodlet with the same name instead. None of these replaced moodlets have a timer, so they last while their cause lasts.

Some replaced moodlets normally pull strongly toward the Embarrassed emotion with a weight of 4. These include Gone Baby Gone, Very Suspicious Circumstances, Forged Family Tree, Secret Lovers, and Secret Child Revealed. Other replaced moodlets, such as Unfair Affair or Ignoble Duel Loss, normally have a weight of 2 or 1.

With the Shameless trait, the replacement Fine moodlets always have a weight of 1. The emotion with the largest total weight becomes the Sim's mood, so this change lowers the impact of those events. The trait adds no hidden multipliers, career pay bonuses, or unique moodlets of its own.

Shameless works for human Sims across the listed life stages, from Newborn to Elder. It suits Sims who often face the specific Embarrassed moodlets shown in the replacement table, such as Public Woohoo, Sticky Fingered Filcher, or Abandoned at the Altar. Because it conflicts with no other traits, you can add it to any Sim build.

You normally get the Shameless trait from the Rewards Store. You can also add or remove it in Live mode by opening the cheat console. Press Ctrl + Shift + C on PC, Cmd + Shift + C on Mac, or the four shoulder buttons on console.

Type traits.equip_trait trait_Shameless to add the trait to your active Sim. Type traits.remove_trait trait_Shameless to take it away. These cheats do not need you to turn on testingcheats true first.
