When your Sim is Confident, hidden multipliers speed up how fast they learn. At the base Confident level, skill gain for all skills multiplies by 1.2. Charisma skill gain and Selvadoradian Culture skill gain get an extra multiplier of 1.16667.
Reaching a total weight of 8 upgrades your Sim's mood to Very Confident. This stronger state multiplies skill gain for all skills by 1.4. It also multiplies Charisma and Selvadoradian Culture skill gain by 1.14286, and these hidden multipliers multiply together.
Getting and removing Confident moodlets
You make your Sim Confident by stacking moodlets until Confident has the largest total weight. The base game moodlet I embrace myself gives a weight of 5 for 1 hour of Sim time. Packs add stronger options, like Mysteriously Confident from Vampires, which gives 8 weight for 4 hours.
The Get Famous pack has the strongest timed moodlet, CelebuSerum Boost, with a weight of 100 for 3 hours. Eco Lifestyle and Horse Ranch also offer moodlets with a weight of 6 that last 4 hours. Snowy Escape includes Post-Vacation Groove, which adds 5 weight for 2 days.
