Flirty is a positive emotion in The Sims 4. It speeds up your Sim's skill gains in both Charisma and Romance. You trigger this mood when your Flirty moodlets have the largest total weight on your Sim.
The game includes 312 moodlets that push your Sim toward this emotion. Reaching a total weight of 8 upgrades your Sim to the Very Flirty state. This second tier gives an even larger boost to your social skill gains.

What the Flirty emotion does to your Sim
The Flirty emotion has two intensity levels that boost specific skill gains. At the standard Flirty level, your Sim gets a ×1.32 multiplier to Charisma skill gain and Romance skill gain. These hidden multipliers stack and multiply together with other active effects in the game.
Your Sim reaches the Very Flirty level when their Flirty moodlets reach a total weight of 8. In this state, the multiplier for both Charisma skill gain and Romance skill gain rises to ×1.54. You can use this stronger boost to train social and romantic skills much faster.
How to get or remove Flirty moodlets
Each moodlet has a weight that pulls your Sim toward an emotion. You only need a single moodlet with a weight of 8 or higher to reach Very Flirty right away. For example, the Beguiled moodlet from the Base game adds a weight of 50 for 4 hours. Pack moodlets like CelebuSerum Boost from Get Famous add a weight of 100 for 3 hours.
Pets in the Cats and Dogs pack also have their own Flirty moodlets. You can give a cat a Flirty moodlet with a weight of 3 for 4 hours using the Give Catnip Treat interaction. Cats also get a weight of 1 for 1 hour from the Groom, Investigate, and Nuzzle interactions.
To stop being Flirty, wait for the moodlet timers to run out in Sim time, or overpower them with heavier moodlets from another emotion. You can also remove a specific moodlet in Live mode using the cheat console. Press Ctrl + Shift + C on PC or Cmd + Shift + C on Mac, type testingcheats true, and then enter the sims.remove_buff cheat.
